My Second Week

ManagerT finally returned to the office after a week away. He was away from last Wednesday until today.
First thing he did was give one of the employees the push. It was Densal who was very apathic to the job. Apparently he has a second job as a pizza delivery boy. Time keeping was the official reason given.
Well he wasn't happy, maybe now he can find something he enjoys
A senior manager visited and so all the management was in meetings all day. Thankfully that let the rest of us deal with customers.
I've spent this week getting to know Iain.
He is 61 and out of retirement and with years of retail experience. We refaced up the stock and moved the displays about until it looked better. He doesnt like the computer, but willl have to start to learn it next week.
No one in the store is interested in the retail side of things, just the hiring of our goods.
No wonder we are doing badly.
